The North Somerset Show-
the South West's first agricultural show of the season
The North Somerset Show is on bank holiday Monday 5th May at Wraxall (on the B3130) near Bristol. There is always plenty to see and do for all the family at this friendly local event.
The show is delighted to be one of the ten qualifying agricultural shows to host the National Blacksmiths Competition and we are pleased to be able to promote the traditional craft of the Blacksmith. Live competitions will be taking place during the day and, along with the static displays, this is a very important part of the show. Visitors to the North Somerset Show can take part in the visitors vote. Run for the first time in 2007, this is your chance to pick the exhibit that you think is the best.
Also on offer at the show are tractor pulling competitions, terrier racing, heavy horses and pony club games. We are pleased to welcome back the Severnside Dog agility club who will hold day-long competitions. The County's top livestock and horse exhibits will compete for their awards in the showing rings and elsewhere there are vintage tractors and farm machinery, have-a-go archery, rural crafts, childrens entertainments, shopping amongst the trade stands and food hall-and much more!
